Selected questions and our answers

How does interest-free installment purchasing (also known as 0% financing) work at the POS?

You as the Merchants enter the customer data at the POS. Availabill carries out a credit check in real time. If the result is positive, the customer is approved for the interest-free installment purchase. You can complete the Shopper. The customer receives an invoice from us together with the installment plan and the number of payment slips for the agreed term. The customer pays the invoice to availabill in convenient monthly installments; there are no fees or interest charges. Availabill pays the invoice amount to you promptly, minus a service fee. This completes the process for you.

Who can benefit from installment purchases?

Interest-free installment purchases are only available to private individuals residing in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. The number of monthly installments is selected when choosing the payment method and may vary depending on the retailer's offer.

Who bears the risk of non-payment?

Who bears the risk of non-payment is contractually agreed individually between the Merchants and availabill. In principle, availabill checks every customer interested in installment purchases and only releases the means of payment if the customer qualifies.
